Tanglin Halt Courtyard - September 2026 Update

Overview

We can now clearly see Tanglin Halt Courtyard taking shape. Personally, I feel that the development is both well designed and fitting of its role as the flagship project of the rejuvenated Tanglin Halt estate. 


When both Phases are eventually completed, they will come together to create a lively community hub which breathes new life into the neighbourhood. In contrast to the former estate, the new development is set to offer a much more integrated, accessible and contemporary living environment.

Block 17A

Construction of the first sky terrace on the 19th floor of the residential building is currently in progress. At the same time, units in Stacks 104 and 106 have advanced to the 20th floor.

Market, Hawker Center and Polyclinic

Progress on the facilities at Tanglin Halt Courtyard also appears to be encouraging. The market, hawker center and polyclinic are taking shape well, with construction works advancing steadily.

Tanglin Halt Cascadia Progress has been slower this month, largely due to ongoing works on the sky terraces for Blocks 74A and 75A, which are more complex than typical floor construction. Block 74A: 16-17 of 47 Floors  With the first sky terrace now completed, Block 74A continues to advance steadily at roughly two weeks per floor.  Works are currently underway at the 17th floor for stacks 501 to 507, while stacks 509 to 515 are progressing at the 16th floor. Block 75A: 15-16 of 47 Floors Construction for Stacks 543 to 549 has progressed to the 16th floor, while the remaining stacks are still completing the sky terrace level at the 15th floor. Tanglin Halt Cascadia - June 2026 Update

Here is my first update for Courtyard's bigger brother - Tanglin Halt Cascadia!  Progress has been varied since commencement in early 2024, but we are near the halfway mark with 456 out of 973 units (47%) completed as of 27 June 2026. The 'Cascadia' is starting to take shape! Taken on 27 June 2026 from Blk 53 of Commonwealth 10. Block 74A: 15 of 47 Floors Perhaps due to the greater complexity of building the sky terrace, works on level 15 has been going on since the start of the month. With 74B/75B nearing completion, would we see the progress for 74A/75A quicken? Only time would tell. Block 74B: 25 of 25 Floors The end is near! Not much needed to be said. 75A: 14 of 47 Floors Barely caught up to 74A's progress, but works for the sky terrace at the 15th floor is commencing. 75B: 21-23 of 25 Floors I've observed stacks 559/561 consistently trailing 563/565 by up to 5 floors since early this year, but at least they are caught up now and are expected to complete in 2 ...

Tanglin Halt Cascadia - September 2026 Update

Overview Based on the current pace of construction, both Blocks 74A and 75A appear to be progressing at approximately one floor every two weeks. If this rate is maintained, the majority of structural works could potentially be completed by the end of 2027, with key collection likely taking place sometime in 2028. Tanglin Halt Cascadia (Left) and Commonwealth 10 (Right) viewed from Commonwealth Dr Block 74A Structural works are currently ongoing on the 22nd floor, progressing from the 19th floor reported last month. Paint was observed on the facade of #06-503, together with the installation of windows. This appears to be a testing or trial installation for the 4 room unit.
